What is Fractional Thermo Skin Resurfacing and How does it work?

The Fractional thermo-mechanical ablation system employs a hot metallic pyramidal tip to transfer heat energy to the skin to initiate collagen remodelling and fibroblast stimulation. 

Short bursts of heat energy pulse into the skin in a controlled fractional mode which helps to protect the surrounding skin, minimising reactions and complications. The intensity of the procedure is customisable allowing us to tailor the treatment specifically to your individual needs.  

How is this different to Laser resurfacing?

Fractional thermo Skin Resurfacing produces comparable results to CO₂ and erbium laser with a unique advantage of no charring, no smoke, no bleeding resulting in minimal downtime. 

There is no need to use protective eyewear, therefore making is possible to treat around the eyes, even very close to the lash line without causing injury.

Treatment options:

Radiant Glow treatment: this is the lightest treatment level allowing hydrophilic topical medications and products to absorb through the open micro-channels, to target a number of conditions such as pigmentation, facial discolouration, uneven skin tone and more.

Ultimate Intensive treatment: this is the deeper treatment level for targeting lax skin, deep lines/folds, skin texture, scarring and more.

Does it cause Pain?

Heat is absorbed by water which vaporises gradually due to the long pulses on to the skin. This results in low pain sensation and minimal downtime.
